Grantham has had it all day but so far it's just been a constant downpour rather than the waterfalls of last Thursday and this Wednesday... looking forward to seeing what state Horncastle is in later though![]()

Rain? Just a little cloudy here. Not seen any *really* heavy rain down here at all!
Supposed to have been showery at worse here today. So I came in on the bike... Yup, hissing down!

I've just driven back from Buxton to Kent in diabolical conditions. Heavy rain and loads of spray, rarely making it above 60 the whole trip... Or even 50
Most driving sensibly, but I could murder people driving only with side lights. It made lane changes very difficult as you couldn't see them coming up from behind
I'm totally knackered, but glad to see sunshine now.
So is the thread not to mention we have lovely blue skies?

I'm in London and my office is on the line where blue skies begin and evil grey clouds lurk in the sky.
@witch: Lorry drivers are the worst. I was restricted to 50MPH on the M25 one downpour as I could feel the car losing it at 60 and lorry drivers went bombing past me. It's like a bucket of water being poured on the windscreen, blinded me.![]()
Just drove back t'north from Newbury, a boat would've been a more sensible form of transport. As for the standard of driving by some people, just unbelievable!

I could have done with a periscope!Originally Posted by teejay

I think you got muddled with one of your triplets (me)Originally Posted by witch

Ok, I was wrong. The monsoon has arrived in Bristol too now. Just in time for the weekend.

Oh yeah @CAM, it was @elsiegee40, not me!!
