I've just bought a HP Pavilion G6 for the head teacher. 310 ex VAT

    Core i3 processor
    6gb RAM
    500Gb Hard disk
only 1 year warranty but you can probably push that upto 3 year per laptop and still come in under or on your 350 budget.

Is the i3 a must? For student laptops we've just got a batch of these Stone Laptops. Running a core2duo isn't the quickest I know, but for general use they're decent machines, with TPM as standard and Stone's 3,4 or 5 year warranty.

sorry I missed out there function, they are for the staff so they need to be a little sturdy, running things like SIMS, office apps, whiteboard software. I think i3 is the minimum that we need to go for.
