So, I was at a meeting/training thing of sorts today with a lot of other techs from the local schools...
And I noticed one of the other techs had an Edugeek lanyard... So, I ask... Who was at a meeting-esque thing today [24/05] with the LEA/RM?
[This is probably one of the more random questions ever to have been posted here...]

I was preoccupied with righteous outrage.

Fair enough, it was an LEA meeting which I assume is probably simmilar to when the MoE sticks their Google marketing badly coded web-everything tainted oar in. I usually need to take a sick bag to such events.

They usually have them at BETT for a short while till they run out, sometimes at the conf if they have spare. Well, so I have heard, the events are rather remote from my prospective.

ah that explains it - I haven't been to one as not working in the Edu sector for quite some time now. Haven't had a chance to go to any whilst working in the private sector
Wonder if we can get one sent to us or someit ?

These meeting started off well.
They were CC3 support meetings, and usually said how to do things... Now they've devolved into 3 hours of "RM IZ TEH OARSUM... GET TEH CC4!!!"
Still better than going into work though...

Free drinks. [Coffee/tea... other people still have to work.]
No food as it's just a morning thing... Finishes at lunch.
