    Freeware video editing software?

I've recently got FRAPS and have taken to recording videos when playing games online. I'm interested in uploading a few select segments onto YouTube however the video files come end up being 10Gb+ in size and I don't think Windows Movie Maker will cut it! Can anyone recommend any good and straight forward (and ideally free) video editing software I can try to edit the videos and reduce their size a bit?

An hours worth of avi file is over 13GB, I don't see why Movie Maker would have a problem providing it can handle the format.

Expression Encoder also has quite a good little editor in it that may do the job. It's much more powerful than Movie Maker.

For free, AVI Demux is quite good and for ~£25 there's Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum. IIRC, the latter will allow you to import your FRAPS videos without converting them first.
