    Yeah, $983bn... Not exactly achievable in 20 years. Not to mention, using ion drives as propulsion is incredibly impractical for a ship which houses any people - acceleration is a long term thing, meaning it'd take a long time to get anywhere.

    I bet they could easily save > $10B by building it in China. American labour is very expensive.
