Never got round to saying hello, HELLO!

I'm the Technical Director at WTL. Things that interest me personally are Solaris, VMWARE and HA Clusters (VCS/Sun Cluster/HACMP). So I will be hanging out in *nix, Hardware and Thin Client Virtual Machines forums.

WTL Plc is a Principle Sun Partner, IBM Business Partner and Enterprise VMWARE partner, amongst others.

Free poloshirt to the first person that can guess what "WTL" is short for. (Be nice please )

    SYSMAN_MK Well done,

Workstation Technologies Limited, WTL used to provide a high number of HP, Sun & Apollo CAD Desktops to the automotive industry.

PM me your details and will be in the post tonight.

    Hi all,

Been a member here for ages now, but don't get time to post... Excellent site though - I mention it to a lot of the other IT staff here.

I now work at the Hull York Medical School (@ Hull Uni), but have worked as IT Tech, then Network Manager at a couple of secondaries.

I'm just going to post up a helpdesk job, if anyone's interested.

    Cheers,

    Rob

    Smile New user

    Hi

I'm Brian, I am an Outreach ICT Technician, employed by a secondary school and my services 'sold' to local primary feeder schools with a RMCC3 network for half of my week. I am at one school for a whole day and other schools for half a day.

It's challenging but very interesting, the worst thing being remembering so many passwords and teachers names!
