*puts the kettle on his head*

At the staff christmas lunch (which was nice, on the whole, but I was disturbed by christmas puddings that were baked in trays... I'm not quite sure how that worked) I decided to eschew the normal bottles of Red and White, and bring the bottle of Jim Beam I had recieved as a gift. Looks were mixture of envy and 'Oh. My. Gawd. He's an alcoholic.'

    But Wine is always nice.

Which I'm not, I can just drink more than most

And as for more women in IT. Good. Excellent. Should happen. I'm hoping for a broad field of applicants in the jobs we're putting in to advertise later today*, as I would love to mix up the dynamic of the office... Not sure who'd put up with us mind. I can barely put up with me...

    -Ash

(* Which I will post details of to the boards as well, natch).

Now why would you want to put the kettle on your head?

Hmm since student days alcohol tolerance level has declined...really should do something about bringing it back up again....

If I thought about *why* I was putting things on my head, I wouldn't have gotten to where I am today.

    That's quite depressing, really.

Why are biscuits always named after Fascists?

Garibaldi, Boubon, the list goes on.
