    Welcome to edugeek

I hope you are in a dry part of the city... my grandfather used to live there and the flood water was a problem.

thankfully yes a dry part...in fact if this part were to be flooded, I would expect Noah to float past

I am in a similar location... surrounded by Kentish floods again, but up on our hill we stay dry.

    Hi - Matt here!

Been working for an Academy in the Midlands as an IT Techie for nearly five and a half years (or as I describe my non-IT literate mates: "telling school kids to turn PCs off and on again"). Been lurking for a while, thought I'd get stuck in!

Sure. #BETT2015 FTW - though that won't be the hashtag as they do like to confuse you and keep you guessing every year

Phil S. About time I joined as been around Grumbledook for more years than I care to think of.

Based originally in Northants @ Magdalen then @ lings Upper then @ Northampton Academy as ICT director.

Now national responsibility for an Academy chains Northern schools and Academies... north as in Swindon to Carlisle..... So fun traveling on M1 and M6 from Northampton most days....

15 years in the classroom and technical management. 4th year working centrally. Current direct oversight of 30 schools/academies both Secondary and primary.

Fun, glorious MDM fun.... A big Meraki fan - not just the MDM but also Security appliance/VPN and wireless.
