Presently evaluating the future of the ICT curriculum, looking at how to maintain the school's IT with little or no money, and running the school's film club (just watched Oz the Great & Powerful - AWESOME!)
Welcome to edugeek. I like the job title; that neatly covers "fixing everything with a plug on it"!

    Hello all,

Some founders may remember / know me - years back I was indiegirl on previous versions of EduGeek. I see things have come a long way!

I no longer work in education, but I've just signed up to help (more fool me) my local school redo their website, and I am hoping there is someone on here from East Renfrewshire (I've moved a long way north from my original stamping ground of Buckinghamshire) who could answer some questions. I see that the Scotland forum is very thin on the ground...

    GOAS

I've been lurking here a while so its time I said hello

Have been in IT since 1995 and moved to Ireland ten years ago but was made redundant in 2010. Couldn't find work so completed a Comptia A+ course and an Open University course on MSAD and Networking and am now the sole ICT Tech in a secondary school but its only a work placement scheme. Next year we are moving to Norfolk, England to be near family.

    Anyway..Hi everyone!

    Hello everyone!

New guy here, been lurking around this forum for few days and I like it, I've been around the computers since childhood and since windows 95 lol, it seems that I will learn a lot from this place as I slightly feel that I lost the track of PC addiction as I became somehow busy with daily work, but I'm willing to learn more!!

oh and I'm studying at University full time and am from Dubai :P and I like cars in general

    Hello, all.

I've just started as an IT Technician for a small school in Doncaster. So far I've found the Learning Network Managers sub-forum to be very interesting and informative, so I'll probably be spending a lot of time there.

Seems like a good community on here.
