Already started posting around the forums but figured I better make a proper introduction!

I'm Tom (can't stand being called Thomas,) I finished school in 2009, went straight on to a college course for two years (finished that last July) and got a job as a local Primary School's IT Technician about 4 months after! Yeah, I'm only 18 so I'm probably amongst the small group of being the youngest in this 'profession' here *nervously smiles at all you veterans!*

It's pretty neat, but also quite intimidating. My NM is a great guy though, always supports me and is more than willing to teach me new things! It's surprising how much I've already learnt in such a short space of time, looking back at my college course it seems pants compared to learning on the actual job itself!

(I know, I talk too much.)
Anyway, I'm glad to be here. This place seems to have a great bunch of people involved and it's nice to know that if I'm in dire straits I can turn here for help! So hello to all of you!

Not the only young one! (although I feel I'm getting on now at nearly 21!!) Hope you enjoy working! I first started in schools 4 years ago and am just leaving me second having been running it for 2 1/2 years!
