A1200 + HD + Blizzard graphics.
See, that's how I know my wife's a keeper - she lets me have my A500 (2mb RAM, Workbench 3.1... whoo) set up in the spare bedroom permanently. I have an old desk I've set up to be my retromancy lair - the Amiga sits on top, and each of the three drawers has a square cut out the back for cable routing to the N64 in the top drawer, Dreamcast in the middle and Gamecube at the bottom. Getting it all wired into the telly was a bit of a logical knot but well worth the effort

I miss my A1200. I don't really miss memory errors in one program being able to down the whole OS, but I do miss the "good old days". My setup topped out at 1200, 68060, 24Mb RAM, 1.2Gb internal 3.5" IDE (cut the casing away), one of those drive controllers that attached to the clock header?!? + Zip drive, CD writer and 5.25" full height 340MB HD, all on scsi in a separate tower.

I'll have to follow suit, and purchase me tv purely for Amiga use only.
not to turn this thread into an Amiga Fansite - 2mb must be flying on an A500?

8th February 2012, 10:23 AM #2105 The error's never really borrowed me neither. The joy factor always outweighed the crashes, plus it seemed to be an inherent skills to apply the art's of tinkering you Amiga to get it running smoothly.
That's some serious grunt you've got in your tower.
I'm assuming that you had applied it to some graphical application or music sequencing.

It's an Amiga, they always flew, and they'll always fly in my heart /tear
When I first set it up again I did run a sysinfo tool on it though... the CPU is clocked at an astonishing 7.07MHz

Hi all,
I currently work for School IT Systems Support in Hertfordshire, been working there for 5 1/2 years. But as of Monday I will be working for RM focusing on one school in Islington. Looking forward to the change should be a new challenge for me, I thought I would join the site as should mean that I am able to pool some of the knowledge on this website

Hi everyone!
I'm Emma, work as a single site IT Tech for a small primary school on the wirral, full time which i believe is pretty uncommon for a primary school around here, still keeps me busy though. role consists of babysitting a mostly well behaved RM network (windows minus a few ipads/ipods), Web design/development, smartboards/cameras etc..basically if it has a plug on it or requires a battery its my responsibility. Started out in IT as a one.doc coordinator at a powerstation, hated it. Moved to the education sector and absolutely love it!

Hi. I'm a computer science university student from the USA. Though, to be honest, the only reason I came here was for help with Steam, the computer game management platform.
