Half time in the world cup final. Did you hear John Motson describe the France player Makelele as "being like an iron smoothing out the creases of the French defence." ?
There's secret society of ironers, that Dan Brown is writing about in his sequel to the Da Vinci Code.

Erm... can't help but think I unleashed a monster here... but wouldn't it be worth splitting this "iron" thing into a different thread so people can continue to introduce themselves without peer pressure forcing those with ironing skills to keep quiet for fear or reprisals..
... or something... :P

I've been lurking for awhile after an introduction from Gatt, thanks buddy because this place has been a god send. Anyway, I thought I'd better introduce myself.
My name's Dave and I'm a manager for an IT company where one of my roles is the support of several local primary schools.
Before finding this site I was getting some weird and wonderful problems and I had a total lack of support, but thankfully this place has sorted things out for me.
Anyway I will no doubt be posting a bit in the future and so I'll apologise in advance! :P
Welcome aboard Dave

Welcome aboard Ian.
Is 24 your age or the number of hours you stay awake?

Re: New Edugeek Users - Introduce yourself here :)
hehe, thanks for the welcome
it's my age but does, rather too often, double as the amount of hrs i have been up. Which, in turn, makes me feel about twice as old!

Or his favourite TV show?
Off topic about tv shows, if you have digital/cable/sky/whatever and get bravo, watch it from midnight, they run [adult swim] which has funny cartoons and robot chicken, which is hilarious claymation made by seth green!
Just thought I'd share that.
