Web Desk Helpdesk Software
Apologies if i am posting in the wrong section. We are currently looking to change our helpdesk and assett management software, we are using managed service desk at the momment however we find this unreliable and the support is terrible. I went to the service desk and it support show and saw Wed desk helpdesk software, first impressions were very good, has anyone used them?
Reviews of the software and support would be really useful

I have used 'Site Helpdesk - IT' before. Very easy to use, plenty of features, and reliable.

WebHelpDesk in use here for about 4 years now. Web Help Desk - Powerful and Affordable Help Desk Software
Regular updates, asset managment, call-logging, simple to manage and populate, reporting, all sorts of stuff.
Very, very pleased with it.

I do like the WebHelpDesk system have used the free version before but we always seem to come back to using Spiceworks..

We use Request Tracker and GLPI - slight customization to start all free and runs off a linux box

Use webhelpdesk for past 2 years and agree with above comments, all good.

Using OP SmartDesk - Helpdesk, Asset Management, Network Management & Resource Management - All In One and can't fault it! Good pricing, good features and good support.
Check out htt://demo.opsmartdesk.com to see the latest version - it differs from the screenshots on the site.

I'd recommend SpiceWorks, It can do much more than just being a helpdesk if you wish!

Another webhelpdesk user here, it's good for most things with the exception of reporting - which is pretty poor (you can't report by client, you can't duplicate reports).

Help Desk Software, Live Chat Software and Customer Service Software for us, but its probably slightly overkill for what you need. Other people have quoted free helpdesks which may suit your needs better.

Use a mixture here of OSTickets (free) and Spiceworks which is also free.

Use my custom one, check my sig.
Does ticketing and asset lists.
Its open source and easy to modify.
