Why do Senior leader in schools provide such poor leadership when it come to recycling and sustainability. They don't separate out their waste they don't cycle to school or use public transport.

I guess it's called freedom of choice. Also, do you know that they live close enough to cycle, or have direct public transport links?
You can arrive at work with paper dry also what about the paper less office!! Also may be if they adopted a different dress code in the school it would be easier to be active on the way to school. I would assume that senior leader can afford to live with in cycling/walking/public transport distance of school.
But why should they have to? Why would you assume they will not only agree with your point of view, but also have their lives guided by it? So they move house to be close to the school, perhaps that means other people in their household have to travel to their jobs instead.
What about it? It was a myth in the 80s, 90s and noughties. It's still a myth. And if you've got 60 exercise books to carry, do you really want to put them on the bus or the back of a bike?
What do you suggest? Cycling shorts and anoraks to be the Green look du jour? Also may be if they adopted a different dress code in the school it would be easier to be active on the way to school.
Maybe they don't want to. Maybe they like the house they live in.I would assume that senior leader can afford to live with in cycling/walking/public transport distance of school.
What you're doing here is taking a particular political ideology and applying it to people and wondering why they don't want to comply with it.
