If we're talking balance here we'll be fried alive when the sun comes out.. The water levels are that bad.

If you will work in such a wet part of the country... I swear it rained without stopping for the whole of my first term at Uni in Lancaster!

Everything here from the M6 west is built on a marsh basically.

My apologies everyone - we went out and bought some new chairs for the garden late on Sunday. Obviously we haven't had chance to try them yet We had 2 BBQs planned this weekend too. It does look to be brightening up a bit now tho.

This thread reminds me of the tour I was getting round the college I am now employed with, I was asking if they had a wireless network and they did have one...

...until God destroyed it! (Bye bye insurance...)

Re: Slight downturn in the weather

We have had nice weather until yesterday, and even then we only had the odd shower - although it has been VERY humid. Last night we had what, in South Dorset, passes for a thunderstorm (5 mins very heavy rain, one rumble, 5 mins very heavy rain) and it has rained a bit today.
Not enough to stop me going out for a run, and it was lovely and cool.

Our first one arrived this evening. Turned the chips in my home PC into fries. I hope it is just the PSU... I'll look later but I think it's dead Jim!

    :-(
