Cant you just use a vpn service? I have used Buy VPN accounts at ibVPN. VPN service mainly in US, Canada & UK before.
Ive got some boxes sitting at my house back in scotland but the internet connection on them is just home adsl. Im looking to get a shell on a box in the UK that in can install and run openVPN on it that has a decent internet connection, anything > 5mbs would be fine I reckon.
Im not sure if i will have to take out a whole linux VPS hosting package, all I need is a shell to install openVPN and to use it occasionly, cant imagine even using 1gb of data a month.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a company that might be able to offer something like this? Woud Carl @ new media offer a service like this does anyone know?
thanks, 1.30 sounds good ill try that out. Is there a minimum contract or can I just get it for a month to try it out? What OS does it run?
You can have anything from 1 month to 3 years.
OS is your choice after order, they have installers for Centos, Debian, Fedora, Ubuntu and Archlinux of varying versions.
thanks will give them a try as well
Lol taken from Buy VPN accounts at ibVPN. VPN service mainly in US, Canada & UKThe VPN connection can be done only mannually in the case of L2TP users, only trough a VPN Client in the case of OpenVPN and in both ways for PPTP VPN.
