20th February 2012, 09:05 PM #1 Wanted: BBC Master - Monitor Cable
I wonder if anyone has lying around still a spare BBC Master 128 to Microvitec Cub monitor cable. It's got the letters T.T.L next to it. I have attached a picture for people to see. Ideally I don't want to pay as it's for a pupil TechnoClub that we are running.
I found the BBC and the monitor in the PE department today. Wowsers.
Many thanks

20th February 2012, 09:20 PM #2 I don't have one of these cables, but it is just a 6 pin DIN to 6 pin DIN. You can get the plugs from Maplin (DIN Plugs : DIN & Mini-Din Connectors : Maplin Electronics) and the wiring diagram at BBC micro to Microvitec Cub monitor cable wiring..

Next thing you'll want to get is a MMC card interface. I've got one in mine full of disc images!

Failing that a PC 3.5" floppy drive will also work.
For reference this is a guide I wrote years ago about converting an Amiga drive, so its in a nice case!
