I was thinking of offering office training which will give some kind of qualification.
This has come from parents, friends etc always asking how to do things on office and me having to show them.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of how I would go about doing this? Do I need to get some kind of qualification myself before I could instruct others?

You could go for the Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) status and if you're going to be deliverying public funded courses you'll have to gain the Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong learning Sector (PTLLS) qualification.
Become a Microsoft IT Academy (if you're a school, it's easier and cheaper), you'll get access to Microsoft's online eLearning courses. Become a Certiport testing centre in order to be able to deliver MOS exams.
