    Explain that you did have, but thieves nicked all the copper earthing wire out of it and it's no longer safe to use

    well, you jest, but i can plug a laptop into our substation and use some energy monitor software to view our energy usage!

    I'd guess they meant a hub. Or USB comes from Unterseeboot which would make their request rather more difficult. There may be some left in Norway.
