    Cash convertors

do any of you have one of these in your town or city?

last week i was in barnsley town centre n decided to have a look in because i had not been in for years, having a look at the computer stuff i saw a laptop

    toshiba satalite

it had, a 14gb hdd, 128mb ram,a 1.1 i think? celeron processor, a sticker saying designed for windows 2000 pro ( not sure if it still had this or if it had been upgraded)

and they were selling this for............................................... .................................................. ...................£200 pound!

i lost plot when i saw the price! i wouldnt have paid 50 pound for it, plus they probably gave the poor mug who took it in £30 for it, they are proper rip off merchants,

also while i was in a bloke was trying to sell them his tv they offered him £35, they had 3 exact same model on the shelf for 80-100 pound!

Yes same in our local store you find odd deal when they get something they don;t know how much it is worth but as rule not worth going to the shop.

    This is probably true TeddyKGB.

I found my hifi in CashCons(verters) after I'd been burgled.
By the time the police bothered to check they had "sold" it, and they didn't know who to! What are the odds of that happening!
