Seeing as we had no snow yesterday (it was promised but never came-gutted) we took the kids to Blackpool this morning as it was so nice here. No wind and sunny. And I go to see for the first time the newly completed north shore promenade and it's comedy carpet. The comedy carpet is an 'art' installation of all the best British comedy lines and gags throughout modern times, and if you are ever in Blackpool it is well, well worth seeking out as it's right opposite 'The Blackpool Tower' - as it is now known (not to be confused with the other one of course) - so is very easy to find. Anyway, I hope you get an idea of the size of the thing from these pics (some 2200sq m), and now that the entire prom is completed should make it easier getting up and down the shore!
