4th February 2012, 11:14 AM #2 Looks like they've gotten the message that keyboards and input devices will still be needed. A lot of the tech they show off there exists already, such as augmented reality, smartphones and tablets that can send info to other devices instantly to use their screens etc...
Interesting idea using a projector as an 'overflow' for interacting with a smaller screen device (when the girl is doing her work at the kitchen table).
The taking a photo of the benefits concert sign and making a donation can be done now with Q codes.
Only thing is now getting all those technologies to be more mature, and getting them to work seamlessly with each other.

7th February 2012, 11:44 PM #3 I'm still waiting for the day I can chuck my Windows Phone on my MS Surface and all the photos "fall" out of it onto the table and pick it up and they all go back in. That was shown at the EG conf two years ago and I'm still waiting as its not done it yet
despite having a Windows Phone and a MS Surface

I'm sure that could be done pretty simply. Why not write it yourself?

8th February 2012, 09:01 AM #6 I loved these videos and used them to inspire the apprentices I was working with last year, showing what they could be doing when they reach the prime of their IT Careers (Well, if MS got off their bottoms...)
