    Spot the mistake...

I just read this on the website for the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth...spot the (deliberate?) mistake...
The tower was featured on BBC Radio Solent, BBC South and on the BBC Two programme, hosted by Dara O'Briain and Dr. Brian Cox, which aimed to educate and inspire people to develop their knowledge of the stars, the solar system and the universes beyond.

    Um...what?
It is accepted in science that there could well be multiple universes

Do you not mean 'there are some physicists working on the theory that there are multiple universes'. It isn't really accepted, just like dark matter isn't really accepted yet, or string theory.

The terminology always bothered me - if there are multiverses, surely they'd be part of the Universe? Multiple universes is analogous to a multi-wheeled unicycle, surely?

But universe implies one. Multiverse sounds more correct!

They also thought that nothing could travel faster than the speed of light, and were wrong...nutrinos

Yes, OK - but since everything in Physics is a 'theory' I just thought that was obvious. I saw that program on infinity and it went on and on about parallel universes and universes outside our universe until I wanted to scream and bite something

It's accepted in the world of Terry Pratchett that everyone lives in the multiverse...

Listen, I am not even sure YOU people exist, let alone another universes.

To be honest, I thought the error was calling the esteemed Prof. Cox 'Dr'.

I do love Brian Cox though: given that he has a music career most people couldn't tell you much about and went on to be a massively famous scientist, he's pretty much the opposite of Dr Brian May. Brian and anti-Brian, if you will.
