Is that the number of people who came through the door?
Or the number of badges issued?
Or the number scanned (Do people with multiple badges get more than 1 scanned?)
And did I count as 1 visitor or 3, as I attended on 3 days?

I *think* its the number of people scanned (multiple scans excluded) or well that seems like the logical number. I will contact and find out. Registrations are usually higher by a fair bit.
Is there a Bett2012 photo gallery anywhere? Showing the stands and how busy it was????![]()

Take a database, Badge No / Person ID / Times Scanned.
Let's say you came in 3 days and got scanned 3 times. Instead of adding up the total number of scans you run a query for how many badge numbers have one or more scans. You get the number of unique users who attended the event no matter how many days they went.
To filter people with multiple badges, you match the visitor to the badge number in the report using Person ID and discard duplicates, making the figure more accurate.
This assumes one visitor has many badge numbers and each badge number gets many scans.![]()
