It was 40 years ago today

Just spent the last hour or so re-listening to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (by the Beatles if you didn't know). According to Wikipedia it was the most influential album of all time. What do you young people think?

I never liked the Beatles if i'm honest. I much prefer Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Levellers, R.E.M etc etc

just watched the TV prog about it last night - was excellent. True genius.

Gotto admit Mr Lennon has the biggest influence on myself of anyone.. not that i'm obsessed - I never listen to their stuff, but to catch it again makes me realise how core it all is to what I do.
