What does 2012 have in store for you?

Do you guys have anything on the radar this year?

Profressionally for me this year we have the schools rebuild starting in the summer, 3 years worth of building work should be interesting, got to squeeze the entire staff and students into one part of the current school while the other is knocked down.. sounds fun!

Personally i turn 30 next month, got a 80's themed fancy dress night out planned and im off to Florida in August for my wedding hoping to move house by the end of the year and the missus may even have a bun aswell as a turkey in the oven by christmas.

Quite an eventful year coming up!

    how about you?

Have you stolen my identity? Your year is very similar to mine!

Personally, I turn 30 next month, getting married in April (only booked at Christmas, 3 months planning we must be mad!) although we're getting married in Prestbury not Florida, although I am hoping we'll get to New York for the honeymoon. In addition, we're hoping to either move house this year or extend our current one.

Professionally, I'm looking to switch jobs into a full Network Manager's job, and I'm also looking to achieve the MCITP Server Administrator this year, first exam booked for Feb half term! Best get started on the revision then :-)

So yes, eventful to say the least :-)

I've stopped planning more than a month in advance - cause, no matter what, my plans get changed too quickly

Hoping to do a Comptia Linux + this year and am 21 in June so that will be a big party!!!

Actually got to just sit down in a corner, ignore anyone coming into my office and leave their problems to my techies, and get the flip on with setting up SCCM/SCVMM/shiny SAN/shiny virtual servers, and testing Windows 7 thoroughly, and deploying that out over the summer, along with the shiny new PCs we'll need in some areas, and all that by September.

After September, mind, I have no idea, as my three year plan will at last be complete - although that's probably for the best, as with any luck I'll have the whole new-Dad thing going on around that time to keep me busy

I'm planning on getting married in Florida April 2013. You'll have to let me know what it's like .
Nothing special this year apart from wedding planning stuff.

My big change this year is joining the NHS IT team, just waiting for the contract, and hopefully moving house.
After 10 years working in school a new direction is very much needed !

That peaked my interest recently. May look into it when working in a school gets too much. Lemme know how you get on!
