When my son gets home it's loft clearing time. Up there is an Amstrad CPC464 plus lots of games. Hopefully it works because they are selling on Ebay. Not for much but if it buys a few beers.

I've got a large collection of DVDs full of old C64 stuff - magazines in PDF format, old apps, bulletin boards etc. It's all there. Got it from America when I was collecting.

Syntax Error - it was a pain in the backside, especially when you had just written hordes of code...... There were some awesome games for it though. Rambo, Top Gun, even a flight simulator.....

Never a fan of the C64 as a machine, but the in the day the SID chip was amazing - Hubbard, Whittaker, Leach et al, really pushed the boundaries of electronic music back then. 3 channels only!

My 64 & Tape drive are still functioning, I had an original when i waws smaller, but It went to heaven and my old man got a second hand one to replace it.

I also have a 5" disk drive for it, but a lot of the discs have given up the ghost whilst they have been in storage.

That was the most awesome thing I had ever seen when I was younger, taking a game's loading time down to 20 seconds from 30 mins.

I used to love my brother's C64, it's what prompted me to seek an Amiga 500+ when I was in my teens (and in a better position to ask for something that wasn't MASK or Action Force for Christmas). Very fond memories. Jumping across a river using stepping stones in Last Ninja 2 on the Commodore 64 - the closest I think I'll ever come to actually going insane.

I've got an unused Speech synthesizer for one at home but it doesn't fit the C64 I got from a boot sale as it was in the newer casing and the expansion slot moulding didn't fit lol
