It's as live as you can get, obviously except for some parts not shown in front of an audience. There's not much difference from what happened live as to what's heard in the shows but it has been said mixing is a little too loud for the laughter. It's not edited.

I thought the laughter on last nights espisode was quieter and better than previous shows.

Yes, it's a live audience but bits of laughter have been taken and added to other bits of the show here and there. Which is unnecessary

That wasn't the case for the first episode - absolutely certainly. Couldn't say for 2 or 3 as I wasn't present for those. Still, it's a minor niggle when it's the content we should be discussing
Some will continue to dislike it, some will have grown out of it, some will have grown into it. That's TV. And it's *still* better than *anything* else on TV.
Not like that's difficult these days!

    It's good, yes
Not much else worth watching although Warehouse 13 is pretty good

I'm really really enjoying it!! It's got a great vibe about it and the characters, even though they look a bit older, still have it. And it's funny- i actually shed a laughter tear which is always a winner in my book!!

Watched it this lunchtime. Brilliant again.

They've really gone back to the old silliness, makes it good laugh out loud fun.

Part way through rimmer referes to his families religeon,

now I can't remember what he actualy said, but previously his family have been "7th day Advent Hoppists" .... Not what he said this time..

I enjoyed it, but not as much as the previous 2.

They were 7th Day Advent Hoppists, taking their typo'd bible literally, with faith, love and hop. The most important being hop.
Now (I think only his mother was mentioned) they're members of the Church of Judas, and they believe that Judas was Jesus' twin, and swapped places with him, being crucified in his place.

Loved the episode last night, missed it the first time round, had to catch it at 20 to 12.

I loved the bag gag. "But what did poor people do?" "Well, they just dropped things!"

However, obviously other people don't agree.
Maybe you should read the "Lemons" thread on the RD forum, lots of criticism.

Excellent episode on Thursday, great plot and the interaction between Cat and Kryten was just superb.

I didn't think much of last night's. It just seemed to be a copy of an earlier episode back in S1 or S2 where after RD has turned around it catches up with a mail pod, and Rimmer gets the letter that his father had died. The plot then made more sense because it had turned around and was heading back to Earth.

And the bit where Lister was missing mankind seemed odd, considering they have / had the telepad device which took them to ancient Earth just a couple of weeks before, and various other places. Even in last week's episode there was a human woman.

This series seems to be experiencing "Star Trek Movie syndrome" - all the even numbered ones are better than the odd!

Yeah, again slow start but definitely improved at the back half. The finger wetting device was a bit risque for Dwarf but had me in absolute stitches!
