I am now armed with ideas on e-safety, MIS, communications, problem logging procedures as well as a can-do attitude and renewed confidence about the relevence of my experience. All of which may or may not be enough to get me the job, I guess it depends who I am up against on the day! Either way, I am enormously grateful to you all for taking the time to reply to my post.
I forgot to wish you luck!

Don't be afraid to mention edugeek if they ask you where you'd get help if the problem is beyond you. It's a perfectly acceptable answer for those of who are departments of 1 person with nobody else on hand to help in those panic moments!

I also had the prioritisation question at my last interview. It was the following list:
A child has fallen over outside your office
A teacher is unable to open a powerpoint she needs for her first lesson
The head teacher has a problem with printing
The school website has developed a glitch.

They did expect us to say that we would pick the child up first! Followed by the teacher's issue as it was preventinig teaching, then the head (he could put his info on a memory stick and print somewhere else in the school)
They didnt tell me if anyone had ignored the injured child!!
*interesting choice of name - I think every one of us female techs have been called 'The ICT Lady' at some point!
