spirit - a friend of mine wrote it. And it's 10p on android today
A few days back I just got my first fancy phone - Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
Been looking at apps and stuff. What apps do you use lots?
The apps on my frontpage that I use the most are
Gmail, tweetdeck, touch calendar, spotify, a torch app , camera, k-9 mail (to separate work mail from private) and the allshare DLNA client to stream videos from main computer to phone as my nighttime tv
2nd page has wi-fi analyser, mememto for recording things like projector serial numbers before I mount them, swiftp (ftp server so can access phone files over wi-fi) rockplayer for videos, google sky maps, gps status, iplayer and angry birds
Notable others - Shazam, juice defender (gives an extra hour or two battery life in a day), easy installer (to just manually load in .apk files from sdcard
And I like Tasker as I can get it to auto unlock the phone and run my own speedlimit app when I plug it into the car power
Might buy spirit^^
I downloaded shazam. That will be handy because often I hear a song and think "what's this called"
Still looking for a nice simple notes app. Just want basic note and voice note. Most seem to be packed with features I don't need.
Is there a good app for connecting to shares on servers and printers?
I use Evernote if I need more than a picture.
Tapatalk - got about 30 forums on there at the touch of a button! Makes life much easier!

i got colour note. Didnt like evernote much as it required an account.
Do any of you use something like the activedir app to reset passwords and stuff when your outside the office and been chased down.
Memento is a database app that uses barcodes (subuses the ubiquitos Zxing Barcode Scanner app) that can export to csv.
If your thinking of trying to use it for equipment inventory, the resolution of your camera will limit reading physically small barcodes
Apps I find really useful:
Tweetdeck (seems so much better than the official Twitter app)
Taptu (great for news)
Remote Desktop (it works so well, although using a mouse on a touchscreen isnt ideal)
FXCamera (for Hipstermatic type photo effects...shame Android phone cameras are usually so bad though)
Adao task Manager (quick way to kill apps and save battery)
HTC Desire here and I use:
Tweetdeck as the default Peep app is dire
Google+ official app
Blizzard Authenticator for WoW
Foursquare official app
SQL Note for messing with SQL statements
QR Droid Private for those square barcodes (QR Codes I think they are called?)
I'm still waiting for TerrariaHB to update so I can use it with the new Terraria patch and ahem...yeah, I have Fing. Thanks to Smoothwall at the conference for that download.
HTC Desire S here - using the HTC Calendar (Agenda) and the Mail app for anything other than Gmail, and also:
Amazon (shopping, not mp3)
...to name but a few
HTC Desire owner here
first two apps that go on my phone
3g watchdog (but I believe Android 4 has data plan monitoring built in)
