Conver to vector format Please?

Hi, Can anyone do me a quick conversion of a logo to vector format for me. Been tol it must be in 'Illustrator CS4 Compatibility'.
Tried saving it in Photoshop as an .eps file but been told it wont recognise the file format so here I am
Dont know if it needs any tidying up first though as not the best at graphics.

Apparently the logo has changed now so I have this pdf of the new one for conversion if anyone can help.
