We are currently streaming some eggs that are due to hatch, into hot chicks due to the extreme lighting conditions, any time soon here...
Chickcam
I'm trying to find a way to record that stream which is being broadcast via justin.tv and wondered if anyone knew of any screen capture software (free) or other methods of recording this momentous occasion?
Thanks

30th November 2011, 11:14 AM #2 FRAPS is supposed to be good. There's a free version on their site which should be able to record streaming video.
I also stumbled upon the full/registered version as a free download, but I'm assuming you're a[n?] honest gentleman and as such abhor illegal downloading.
FRAPS!!
The shareware version of Fraps is identical to the registered commercial version, except for an unremovable Fraps watermark at the top of every video, and a 30 second video length limit.
I think that's the only difference between the paid and free versions.

30th November 2011, 11:20 AM #4 I think justin.tv has a "record show" function. You can then download the .flv if required or just watch on your channel on justin.tv.
Alternatively you could use something like CamStudio - Free Screen Recording Software

Which, while free and on the site, is going to require extra work depending on what @reggiep plans to do with the video file.

Nope. It exports to AVI by default which will play in WMP. The codec on the site is for lossless recording. There is also a SWF convertor which spits out a flash video player.
Also I wouldn't really consider putting a file through handbrake extra work as it takes about 5 seconds of doing and x time waiting

I stand corrected.
Extra work is extra work. Regardless of how long it takes.

It may do but every guide I have read so far seems to fail for all follow on users!

I thought it would be the easiest way to draw people to the thread. Thanks Dazz for proving me right!
