    I can see the appeal, but is it not a tad irresponsible to encourage people to print more in this day and age when governments are trying to discourage wastefulness?

    I dont see why y in theory you cant use a pdf printer and wirelessly "print" to a kindle like device infact as you can email pdfs to a kindle in theory it shouldnt take much to make a pdf printer that emails it to your kindle

    Cool. It would seem to be a thermal transfer printer, as used in tills - that'd be a good way to keep people subscribing to your service, being the only providor of the appropriatly-sized paper rolls. It could be handy to have a news service that printed out a smal, personalised paper at the start of the day to read on the way in to work - Kindle editions of newspapers don't get published until past 7am, by which time I'm at work, and wireless doesn't work on the Tube anyway.

    Why do i suddenly for see a need (from teachers!!) for one of those in every class to notify of messages without disturbing the class or using email?!?!?
