A request ....
As some of you may know, I have a 'school friendly' game site. I am not going into my reasons for this being built or who does or doesn't use it etc. but I would appreciate a few forum members loading my site and then one of the games to say how fast or slow this process is.
Recently I have had to change hostings - the site currently uses around 5 gig a day and my old hosting threatened to charge £25 per day for the priviledge. I have now changed to siteground, but I am worried about the speed of this new hosting - so your opinions would be appreciated.
Thanks very much

Could be allowed from NCC schools on a different filtering level to us or those doing their own filtering exclusively.

Re: A request ....
Thanks very much to all of you - thats all I wanted to know. I'm really not sure about siteground though as the deal I have got seems too good to be true....
Pipex were charging me £20 per month +vat (ish) for 60gig of data transfer whereas siteground boast a liit of 2500gig per month fo $5.99!!!!!
Now when the site was first swaped over it looked real slow on my own computer, but once I did a flushdns it was fine. It will be interesting to see what it is like under load though.
For those that are interested and as you have been kind enough to help me out here, I set up a viewer account for the kids that I teach so that I can talk to them about stats, optimisation, adsense, IPs etc.
Feel free if you want to use it - its a nice tool to have.

A good question - I actually don't know. However I don't think that there is any way that PageZ could be associated with it as it is not obvious to the user where the site is hosted is it?
I actualy had an offer from a guy on another forum to host my site for free - all he wanted were a row of single word adverts somewhere near the top of the navigation pages. I turned him down after one of my internet 'buddies' in Australia did a bit of checking and found that he had a number of porn sites - there is no way that I would ever want to be associatied with them.

Mate - so far I have acquired just under 3,000 flash games. On PageZ there are between 4 and 500 - because the vast majority are either rubbish or inappropriate for what I consider to be my audience. Defender I would love too - and Pheonix but they just aren't out there. Paul Neave is by far the best and most likely guy to produce a perfect replica of these games but I think he got his wrist slapped for his absolutely perect versions of Space invaders and Pac Man - so we will have to wait for all those action scropt 2 programmers out there to decide its time for the resurrection of these wonderful old games......
