The only password I know is my LastPass one. For every website I sign up with I set a unique alphanumeric password (32 characters or more where possible) and a unique e-mail address.

I use the plus addressing feature of GMail and FastMail so I can create hundreds of e-mail addresses from a single e-mail account. e.g. myusername+sitename@gmail.com or edugeek@myusername.fastmail.fm etc.

    Still not been updated...
    Quite!
As we're all in the same business (vaguely!) the majority of us are probably fairly sympathetic, which I am too, but I'm not impressed that we were promised updates and have received nothing. If you look at the time which has gone by, you have to wonder whether it's a case of they don't know at all or just haven't found out yet...

Or that they are still working on ensuring things are up and running right, whilst getting things ready for BETT, dealing with spammers ...

A quick question for all those who are feeling a tad concerned ... have any of you asked a Mod or used the Message the Admins page?

There's going to be a lot of tears when the LastPass servers are hacked!

People have heard of the phrase "Don't put all you eggs in the same basket" - haven't you?????

Well that was a surprise. Came back to find my account locked out and data breached. Have had to create a new account and can I find an explanation anywhere? Can I hell! But that is OK as Admins are organizing their yearly jolly to BETT. Would seem to me that their time would be better spent explaining to their “valued” members what actually happened rather than posting about getting new office desks and bits for their bike!

@RoF I wouldn't worry, you should be able to recover the account...I will look up the link for you.

Poor you! It means you'll have to earn all that neg rep again!!! Such a chore I know. I've been doing well on that front lately though, got almost as much neg rep as positive rep!

I'm just enjoying myself I know what its like to be on the receiving end of lots of neg rep now...

Even that post got some neg rep! Saying she's a nice person if I got to know her. I know she is actually, I've never held a grudge or had any negative feelings towards her. I'm sure she's lovely. I was joking... Oh, wait, does that contradict my argument on that other thread? :s
