The difference is, a comedian wouldn't walk up to the family of a fallen soldier and make an offensive joke about it, they'd say it to their audience (who are there to see them because they find offensive jokes funny). It does not mean the audience are actually laughing at the joke itself (some might be, that's up to them) but most people will be laughing out of shock at what has been said; it's all about your target audience.

The fact that pornography exists is because some people like to watch it and they do watch it. Those that don't like it, don't watch it. Same rules apply.

Agreed, that sort of comedy is about pushing boundaries. Also with without p0rwn0graphy, would VHS and even domestic broadband have been succesful lol.

Some of you guys need to lighten up a bit. A joke is that; a joke. If I decide to laugh at a comedian joking about disabilities, rape, murder etc then I'm well within my right to laugh. Does it make me a bad person? No. Does it make me unintelligent? What do you think?
