Does anyone know the exact files you need to stick on a cd to create a bootable network cd rom disk to use with ghostcast?
followed the steps in the .pdf which came with the software but doesnt seem to work

nightmare to make, had so much trouble with these in the past.
I currently use a usb stick which boots into the ghost program....read http://forum.winimage.com/viewtopic....e935fbe239b54e
for instructions. It uses a little HP made linux program, quite nifty
If you are using Ghost 7.5 or later and have a PXE bootable NIC's in your workstations, I would install RIS.
RIS adds an option to the Ghost boot disk wizard which will enable you create a RIS menu item to boot the Ghost client from the network.
You can use the generic PXE driver to create the RIS boot image in most cases or create a RIS boot image using custom drivers as you would for a floppy or CD boot image.
Although this sounds like a lot of work, it is quite simple to set up and when its working you will wonder how you ever managed before.
I agree with what djm968 said about using Ghost with RIS I use this set up as standard now and it has saved me no end of hassle with boot disks.
