    Thanks in advance,

Essentially was a CSV export from Sims imported into a Mysql db and then a PHP page which queried the DB for todays date and displayed the relevant names.

I havn't got the code any more but it was a simple 3 line php file

Cheers Glennda, that's enough to get us in the right direction - have you stopped using Xibo if you don't have the code anymore? If so, have you replaced it with anything else??

I was wondering how you did this? This sounds like a great idea and it means I won't have to worry too much about granting various people in the marketing department access to the Xibo server I'm setting up.

not sure what kind of data you are after but I have a similar system for a Sims export for birthdays which is imported into MySQL and then displayed via a PHP page.

We use Live Slide Show on an internal webserver for displaying any pictures in Xibo, works a treat as it is so simple, just drop pictures in an images folder and it uses them, even after the webpage has been loaded.
