I like working in education

Worked in four seperate schools from infant to secondary since 2007. Some of its been quite fufilling, eye opening and the stuff students come out with can be downright entertaining. Ill miss parts of it to be honest but it will be nice to work with adults again and earn a more appropriate wage.

Still working for the tax payer in my new position in IT Support.

Not be long before I leave too. Just waiting for my official job offer to come through before handing in my notice. I have never really left education before. When I finished my GCSEs, I started my apprenticeship straight away at my currentplace of work and have been here ever since. I've gotten to the point where I need to move on otherwise I believe I'll miss a prime opportunity to go and experience other areas of IT and working in different environments.

I've kept the HT and my line manager in the loop along the way and they've been nothing but supportive, so if there was ever a job advertised here and I wanted it that there'd be no bitter taste from before.
