3rd November 2011, 10:12 AM #1 Yahoo Mail issue since update
We run through SWGfL and since the return to school our admin ladies who use Yahoo Mail have been asked by Yahoo to upgrade to the latest version. Unfortunately although they can now access their mail they can't get any action out of the reply button - any ideas please folks?

8th November 2011, 12:36 PM #4 We had very similar problems to this when some of our staff updated, and I solved it by adding http://mail.yimg.com/zz/combo to our RM Smartcache whitelist. The new Yahoo mail relies on some Javascript hosted on that domain, and it was being blocked by default. It sounds to me like the SWGfL filters may be doing the same/similar.

8th November 2011, 01:22 PM #5 Talking of Yahoo our boys discovered that by typing random letters such as kkk or mmm into Yahoo Images they accessed inappropriate images. Since added this to our SWGfL filter.

8th November 2011, 01:53 PM #7 I contacted Our Internet provider who did something which then allowed yahoo to work, obviously some sort of web page block was stopping reply or even opening the emails in the new design.
