    Was more thinking for if there was a next time, not that I am wishing you to have a next time, but if Mr EG is like me I go through a couple of cards a year snapping them in my wallet he may need it again.

    You are right about that. Working in New Delhi for the forseeable future makes it quite likely.

    His driving license was in his wallet with his debit card so they have his name, address, date of birth, bank account number, sort code and signature.

    The bank have advised us to open a new account when he gets back at the end of the month and close our current one. The risk of identity fraud is now very high. Now THAT really is going to be a pain.
