Perhaps we should have an Edugeek pub crawl on a nationwide scale - meeting up in the various towns where an edugeeker has recommended a local brew or suchlike?

Oddly enough there's quite a few pubs that serve Uley round here, must be something to do with being about 5 miles from the brewery

Depends on my mood, location and time of day/meal. I like proper English beer, New World (particularly full bodied, fruity, Aussi red) wine, and Speyside wiskey.

generally found in Ireland but can be found in the dark recesses of some supermarkets in the UK. The nearest equivalent here would be Irn Bru.

We could start the Edugeek Drinking Club. Subscription only, to pay for drinks and taxis if too drunk to get home. And we'd need to put our names on the liver transplant waiting list just in case.
