I enjoyed reading that apart from the 'Maggie' statement, when I saw that part I vomited quite violently.

So the whole article has no relevance because of that? How about if you read it as "or the person who invented the lightbulb"?

No, it has no relevance because of the source

To be honest, it smacks of the Mitchell & Webb sketch "it's not exactly brain surgery, is it?"

Of all the tributes, platitudes, and fan-worship I've seen since he died, this is my favourite.

if you hadn't posted it, I would have.

One of my first computer experiences was with Apple Mackintosh, the game Crystal Quest is so awesome and addictive.
I was in the PC mould for many years thereafter until the last 5 years when i began the conversion, slowly but surely; the kit just works, i don't care it's expensive, flashy, who created it, or what marketing was used.
I have a MacBookPro, iPhone, iPod, and a Classic My MAC Classic - YouTube , soon to have new MBP and iPhone
It's ironic that i'm actually allergic to apples!
You could argue with the 'fact' that "Three apples changed the world: Adam’s, Newton’s and Steve’s!" ( Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal on Steve Jobs: Three Apples Changed The World - Forbes ) but lets not.
Like him or not, visionary or not, let him be. The history books will decide what he was, and if you don't agree, buy a different book!
    Thanks Steve.

Hah, looks like the above comment upset somebody judging by the neg rep I received. May I suggest a google search for the definition of the word sarcasm......?

    Negative doesnt bother me

Although I glad MS became the IT world, if MACs were the main world of IT I think we would be more stressed at IT instead of being fedup with the users.

I will enjoy Steve's contribution to the world Pixar and iPhones.
