"May The 4S Be With You"
Wait wait wait...let me get this straight....they improve battery life on the new iPhone?
How when the iPhone 4 standby time is 300 hours yet iPhone 4s is 200 hours.
How when the iPhone 4 WiFi Web time is 10 hours yet iPhone 4s is 9 hours.
Am I missing something?
Mind you at least they have brought the Camera up to HTC standards and finally introduced a microdock that allows MicroUSB charging!
No, apple released the same specs themselves!
Samsung Galaxy S - Released June 2010
5 megapixel camera, 1500 mAh battery, 480x800 px Super AMOLED display
Samsung Galaxy S II - Released April 2011
8 megapixel camera, 1650 mAh battery, 480x800 px Super AMOLED display
apple whip their customers into a frenzy with drip fed rumours and then nobody is allowed to feel cheated that all they've done is pretty much give the phone a spit polish?
if you bought a new car and six months later the car company said we have amazing news, you will want to buy this car soooo much, and then you find out all they've done is add one sticker on the steering wheel, you'd feel let down.
it just seems nobody is allowed to feel let down by apple. if they bring out a new phone its groundbreaking, if they rehash an old phone its building on fantastic tech, if they attempt to block every other phone and tablet in the world its a good thing.

I'll stick to my HTC Desire HD (well, I have to really, I've got another 18 months on the contract...). But even if I didn't have to, I'd stick with Android.
I just don't like the OS on iPhones. The whole 'single button' thing annoys me, as does iTunes.
My contact has just run out. I would have been tempted by the IPhone 5 but I think i'm just going to keep my phone and go on a sim only deal. Not worth upgrading.
Someone mentioned about the chips being more powerful...yes they are, but in return they consume less power according to Apple, so the maths doesnt add up to a longer battery life. They allegedly consume 5% less battery with the new chip than the old chip does due to the efficiency of it, so how does that tie in with the extended battery life? Yes it has more standby time, quite considerably, but standby = not touching the phone, or letting anybody phone or text you...will that ever happen? no.
So Apple once again have rehashed one of their phones, whilst yes the tech beneath it may be good, it is still behind many other brands (HTC, Samsung, Nokia) for the technologies used (camera's, dual core chips etc).
All they are doing (and doing well I must say) is hyping up the phone with slightly outdated technology, but making it look good in the process!
From a gaming prospective itís an Xbox360 in your pocket. No need for a PSP or DS.
Key Word... "Upto" none of the current software used on an iphone will ever get the max output that they are bragging about so nobody can give it a full on test!
