I've got a couple of Samsung netbooks with damaged hinges. From the look of them the screens have been pushed back too far damaging the hinge/screen joint. Are faults like this covered under warranty?

Worth a try though.

26th September 2011, 05:07 PM #4 I have Samsung netbooks and I was able to return one under warranty with a damaged key - that a child had pulled off - they replaced it with no problem so it could be worth a go.

The netbooks are 2 years old so 1 year of warranty left to run. I've had a keyboard replaced before without problem so I suppose I've been lucky so far in that I've not really had much damage as I was expecting far worse.
