I watched this last night, very funny. It was aired at the same time as the new two and a half men started, I'd be interested to see which got more ratings!
Can't really repeat most of the jokes here but some were hilarious.....best one being
"Charlie, you're a lot like Bruce Willis......big in the 80's but now Ashton Kutcher is filling your old slot"
Mike Tyson was a roaster, and looked like he was on speed, he stood there fidgeting, kept straightening his jacket and looked very nervous. Still had a couple of good jokes though (When I heard your jokes I wanted to bite my own f***ing ears off).
Most pointless person there had to go to Steve-o though. Now trying his hand at comedy but despite all his jokes had to resort to asking Mike Tyson to make a fist then running into it to try and get a black eye (and ended up breaking his nose).
Closest joke to the bone with him was a woman saying "Steve-o we know you were hit hard when Ryan Dunn died, asking 'Why him, why did he have to die' and we all felt the same, asking "why him, why couldn't it be you"
Still think the William Shatner roast was the best I've seen though.

21st September 2011, 11:01 AM #4 watched 2 and a half men last night...could not believe how much funnier it was...quite surprised as the humour with charlie sheen was always slapstick and dry...did not like it. With ashton kutcher its much better

some of the reviews ive read seemed to say it was the opposite, that kutcher was trying too hard to be like sheen in it.
the only sad part is chuck lorre obviously being just as childish as sheen was with the death scene. i mean "body exploded like a bag of meat" isn't really there for comedic purposes, its more for lorre to hit home the fact he was in charge and has written out sheen forever

21st September 2011, 11:06 AM #7 very true about the funeral scene
kutcher was very good IMO...i think he adds a nice zest of life to the show....it got boring, same old story line...Charlie meets a woman, sleeps with her, comes back to haunt him...ashton kutcher whilst the end seemed familiar, his character was just better somehow!!

21st September 2011, 11:10 AM #8 i think only time will tell to be honest. the high figures for the first ep are more from curiosity i feel. if they are still pulling in 25m viewers after another two seasons then its been a success.
i'll no doubt watch it at some point, but im looking forward more to big bang coming back to be honest
