I had a tendancy of listening to PCs that were having power issues to see how far they got (drive spin up, post etc.) until I had my ear to the side of one when it blew like that. Hearing was wasted for the rest of the day in that ear.
Thanks for the warning, that sort of 'listening' to PC's is something I do a lot when necessary.
