Rep Power: 0   |  Anyone got a BBC B / Master? .... and now we actually need a BBC B / Master to retrieve some plotter code from a 40track disc !!! Not going down the ebay path (just yet) but is anyone willing to donate (or even sell at the right price) a working machine with a disc drive? I know someone had 30 odd machines they were chucking a few years ago but i doubt they still have them! Fingers crossed!!! |

Before going for Ebay, it may be worth checking your local Freecycle group - great place for asking for things people have sitting around in their loft, or giving away the same  I'll have a look in my ICT dungeon and see what's about but I have a horrible feeling I too cleared out all my old beebs with a tear in my eye a year or two ago. Still have a nice stack of A3010/A3000, Amigas, a very old mac and some other wierd bits and pieces. Which reminds me, i must find my copy of Mad Professor Mariarti (sp?)  |

They're classic machines Its sad that people get rid of them like that - at least sell them or give them away on freecycle or something!I have got one you could have but its slighty faulty hence why Id be fine getting rid of it. Its probably not much use to you though - some keys type different letters and some dont type anything |
