    Question GCSE/A Level Electronics Ideas

Does anyone have any ideas for anything i could make for my GCSE and or A level Electronics project. Im pretty stumped as for what to make,I am doing my alevel early and I have only had half a year to learn the basics ,I quite fancy using a Pic-axe chip, there this one guy in my class making a Arcade Machine, any help would be great.

PS. it has to be something that could be used to raise money at a school faire ,I know that sucks.

    Thanks
    Louis

anything using an arduino would be cool:

not necessarily, there's stacks of cool things you could do with an Arduino.
    arduino - Google Search

Do check with teacher that what you want to do will fit the course specification though

If you've got the budget, Lego Mindstorms + bluetooth control module + playstation / xbox bt controller + wireless camera.

Let people pay to drive it round the building and watch the video coming in.

I'd like to build a self balancing robot (segway style balancing) but can't work out how to make it pay.

Alternatively, build a segway clone or one of the skateboard-like derivatives and charge for rides.

That'd give your insurance people a nightmare!

    Tombola/raffle systems?

A geeky take on those machines that gauge how much of a lover you are/how wet you are/how brave you are etc?
