You wait - he will be given a slapped wrist - that is all.
Driving like that he should be thrown out for the rest of the season - what a to55er.

What did he do? I missed the qualifiers.
He crashed into the side of Lewis on purpose. He should definatly get more than a slapped wrist but probably wont
ah well... won't do his career much good either way![]()

Definitely needs an example being made, there was no excuse for that. The guy's a moron. Good show by Lewis though coming 2nd with a damaged car - lets just hope they let McLaren fix his sidepods and suspension for the race though as it wasn't his fault!

Hot off the FIA press (well was about 30 minutes ago) and they have both had a spanking.
Lewis is reprimanded and Pastor has been dropped 5 places

What a joke! Maldonado should be sent home. :-(

Yet more double standards from the FIA who really are getting worse than FIFA as a dodgy outfit. I would not blame Lewis if he just gave up and went and drove Indy cars instead. Unless you face fits in F1 and you like taking back hands from Ferrari then you really don't stand a chance.

This video just about covers it :
But that misses the vital bit when Lewis in the first instance twitches his car towards Maldonado (which is why he probably got a ticking off for) and then Maldonado retaliated (silly boy). Hamilton not blameless in this at all but Maldonado was also wrong to retaliate. Hamiltion getting a habit of accusing others of hitting him delieratly, didnt he accuse Massa of driving in to him deliberately to take him out at Monaco (ah yes thats where he got a slapped wrist there as well and hit Maldonado).
Hightower (30th August 2011)

Hamilton's reprimand was for tapping Maldo on the chicane, not for anything on the straight. It doesn't matter if he twitched in any direction or not, there was absolutely no need for Pastor to be where he was - or any other drive for that matter. Flag was long down, session was long over, the drivers knew it, Maldonado knew it. He was just miffed at being given a quite rightful "get out of my way" love tap in the chicane.
Regardless of which, they've spoken to eachother and apologised to eachother (not as if Hamilton needs to really other than to appease the morons at the FIA who love nothing more than to keep pushing him to see how much of their racist crap they'll take)
** edit, just in case - no, I'm not talking about Hamilton re the above racist comment. I'm talking about the the FIA in general, anyone that was watching in the 80's knows full well what I mean by that![]()

The main point is the Venezuelan shouldn't be in a F1 car. Money has got him the seat. He's a useless driver.

I don't expect this little encounter will do his carreer in F1 any good judging by the reaction of the team principles.
Another hot head, not what is needed in such a fast moving sport...
Did anyone spot the new livery on Team Lotus..... 6bxajr.jpg TonyF is so hands on.
All adds to the fun if you ask me.
Looking forward to my favourite GP. Hope Lorraine makes an appearance again.
